House panel proposes royalty-based payment for coal miners

MMRDA to spend Rs 622 cr on road infra in Thane dist

Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) will spend Rs 622 crore on the extended Mumbai urban infrastructure projects, mainly in Thane district. It will build six flyovers, a creek-bridge at Vasai between Naigaon and Bhayendar and over 90-km of road network in Vasai, Thane, Kalyan, Dombivli, Ambernath, Karjat , Badlapur and Arnala.

MMRDA takes up road works on big scale in suburbs

The Rs 4,028-crore budget cleared by the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) on March 23 made it clear that the budget's thrust would be on road infrastructure development in the city's distant suburbs such as Thane, Navi Mumbai, and Kalyan-Dombivli.
